Texas Wildflowers

A couple of years ago we drove to Ennis for the Bluebonnet Festival and the flowers were amazing. Apparently last year the bluebonnets weren't as colorful. I hadn't seen too many this year either until I came across this field in Benbrook. My granddaughter loved running in among the flowers.

She looks so cute amongst the flowers.

this is a better bluebonnet year -= tons going north on I35. I know because we drive real slow in the morning - too much traffic, but I can enjoy the wildflowers.

She's precious! I am really glad to see more bluebonnets this year than we had last year. We've got quite a few coming up in our front yard. Luckily, it rained soon after we spread seeds!

She's gorgeous, Ann! And those blue Texas wildflowers make a wonderful back drop!
